The 威斯康星大学欧克莱尔分校's teaching - adaptive physical education minor teaches you how to tailor a physical education curriculum so that it is appropriate for children with disabilities and/or special needs in a regular education setting. This minor is only for those who are already certified as a physical education teacher and are looking to obtain an additional license in adaptive physical education.

Curriculum within the adaptive physical education program will help you to better understand children with disabilities and learn how to appropriately plan and implement instructional strategies. Coursework and projects explore additional topics within the field, including techniques and best practices related to teaching, 训练, 评估, 协调资源, 咨询, 合作与倡导.
